It’s called a “retreat” because it’s an opportunity for your group to get away from it all
At Bryn Mawr Mountain Retreat, that’s exactly what you’ll be able to do. Let us take care of the meals, setup, housing and other details so you can take the time to focus on growth, reflection, strategic planning, or other objectives for your faith community or corporate group.
With a calm, pastoral atmosphere and natural beauty as far as the eye can see, Bryn Mawr Mountain is the ideal setting for your religious retreat. Our campus offers a variety of locations for worship services, both indoor and out, as well as spaces suitable for prayer, meditation, praise dance, music practice and more.
Whether your group is looking for energetic bonding activities or prayerful reflection, Bryn Mawr’s expansive outdoor spaces and facilities offer opportunities for year-round, all-weather recreation and facilitated programs. Conquer the adventure course, lead group games on our playing fields, bond over a basketball game, or commune with nature on our private lake. Our covered pavilion means your outdoor programs can proceed come rain or come shine.
From small group sessions to meetings for a crowd, our campus can accommodate a wide range of concurrent events. Stage your full group in our conference center or outdoor amphitheatre, then host breakout sessions in any of a variety of comfortable indoor meeting spaces — or plan a working lunch in one of our dining rooms. We can accommodate any number of sessions at the same time, including those that require private or quiet spaces.
You can’t find inner peace on an empty stomach! Our dining staff will build a menu customized just for your event, taking into consideration the ages and preferences of your participants. We believe in fresh ingredients, healthy options, and most of all, food that tastes great and fuels your group for the next activity. We are able to accommodate most dietary needs, including allergies and religious practices.
You’re not just renting a facility when you bring your retreat group to Bryn Mawr. You’re engaging our full-service planning team. We can help you hone your schedule, plan your group’s days and nights — even provide trained facilitators for your group activities. Our retreat planner will provide as much assistance as you need to help your group get the most out of their time at Bryn Mawr.
